Hi everyone! I’ve started renovating my resale flat, and the first thing I wanted to tackle was cooling. Singapore’s heat is no joke, and upgrading my ceiling fans was long overdue. I looked for models that balance airflow and energy consumption, and some even come with sleep modes and timers, which is super helpful.
One of the best decisions I made was choosing a kdk ceiling fan for the bedroom. It’s whisper-quiet and really sturdy. I love that it doesn’t wobble like my old one. The remote control is a bonus, especially when I’m already tucked into bed and want to adjust the fan speed.
I also replaced all my older light fixtures with led lights. The new LED downlights give the rooms a fresh, clean look. Plus, they’re cool to the touch, which helps keep indoor temperatures down when the fan is already running. My kitchen especially looks much better with under-cabinet LED strips.
Thanks to the climate voucher 2024, I was able to offset a good portion of the costs. I used it at a shop in Ubi that specializes in eco-friendly appliances. They helped me choose energy-efficient products that matched my budget and style. Worth every cent.
